Slim Thug recent hit up his Twitter account to post some rather interesting tweets, one of which involved a personal dream he had regarding Beyonce.  It looks as though the tweet has since been deleted, but Slim Thug actually posted earlier that he wished he had been the one to get with Beyonce and have a baby with her.  It seems rather strange that he would say this so publicly, since Beyonce is happily married to Jay-Z and started a family with him not too long ago.

Natina Reed of Blaque Killed In An Atlanta Hit And Run

Fans of the Atlanta-based hip hop/RnB group Blaque are mourning the loss of 32-year-old member Natina Reed this morning, after she was killed in a tragic hit and run last night.

The Atlanta artist was introduced to the music world through Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes before he eventual automobile related death. Reed is survived by her 10-year-old son Tren, who is from her relationship with rapper Kurupt.

Rest in peace Natina, and condolences to the other two members of Blaque, Shomari and Brandi.

Mike Epps to Portray Richard Pryor in New Film

Mike Epps will be playing the role of late comedic actor Richard Pryor in an upcoming film about the life of Jazz legend Nina Simone. Epps took the time to personally contact Pryor's widow, Jennifer Pryor, and ask for her blessing, which she was more than happy to give.

"That was very sweet and respectful that he called me first. I am happy that they picked him. He is a real good guy," Jennifer said to TMZ. 

Jennifer Pryor is producing the film, and says because Mike Epps displayed such a respectful gesture she would even consider casting him as Pryor in an upcoming biopic. On the fiip side, one name Jennifer refused to entertain the role was Eddie Murphy, whom she has an unidentified aversion for.

"Having Eddie Murphy play Richard Pryor would be like having Al Jolson play Malcolm X," she stated.

Obama Administration Targets Violent MS-13 Street Gang

MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, is an extremely violent street gang originating from El Salvador which has wreaked havoc in the United States for years. This past Thursday, the Obama administration designated the group as an international criminal group, and now they're looking to crack down on the finances of MS-13.

The Treasury Department officially labeled the street gang as a transnational criminal organization. The overall goal of targeting the violent group is to seize millions of dollars in profits made from distribution of drugs, human smuggling, and other various crimes committed in the U.S.

The gang is comprised of over 10,000 members who stretch across 46 states, expanding far beyond the original U.S. stomping grounds of Los Angeles. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Special Agent Jason Shatarsky says the brutal nature of the gang has shocked not only law enforcement but rival gangs as well.

"They saw a level of violence that hadn't been seen before," Shatarsky simply said.

The majority of the members of MS-13 all have strong ties to Mexico and the various drug cartels in that country. The Treasury Department is looking to slow down their operations in an attempt to prevent the funneling of money to Mexico. Any member of the gang will be subject to prosecution, according to David S. Cohen, undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence of the Treasury.

Teased by family and friends about her flat backside, Apryl Michelle Brown had been very insecure.

Once Apryl had enough money, she told herself she would buy herself a better one. Apryl said, "I didn't know if I wanted to look like Janet Jackson or J. Lo...I just wanted a new, bigger booty."

Unfortunately, her quest for curves cost her all her limbs and almost took her life. In 2004, Apryl says she paid a "pumper," an unlicensed person, to inject silicone into her backside.

Brown can't recall how much she paid - maybe $500, maybe $1,000 - but over time, she says, the area became intensely irritated and painful, and her skin blackened. By early 2006 the silicone hardened, which caused severe pain and infection, ultimately requiring her to have amputation of her limbs.

Apryl told ESSENCE, "I was left here for a purpose... I have to get the word out so that nobody else makes this choice."

Nelly Speaks Publicly On His Tour Bus Drug Bust

Nelly spoke publicly for the first time on the drug bust which involved his tour bus last week. Police found heroin and weapons, but the rapper claims he didn't know about any of it.

Nelly was in Atlanta recently to visit his boo Ashanti for her birthday and he found time to stop by V-103 for an interview with Kenny Burns. He explained to the station what happened following his bus getting pulled over.

"Certain stuff we can say and certain stuff you can't say until at that is cleared," said Nelly. "We got pulled over and things were noticed as far as K-9 abilities and things went in stages from there. It was kind of wild...When they asked, 'Whose is this', I can tell you who it ain't."

The area they were apprehended in has long been a dangerous spot for celebrities . Sierra Blanca, Texas police officers have caught several other celebs with illegal substances, including Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, and Fiona Apple.

"It ain't a good spot to come through with anything you ain't supposed to have," said Nelly. "Everything happened so fast. It's one of those situations where you're squinting your eyes like, is this really happening? There was no way I would jeopardize what Nelly has built for the last 14-15 years being in the situation I was accused."

Jay-Z has always been protective over his ingenue Rihanna, so it comes as no surprise that the rumor mill is spinning that Hov gave Chris Brown a stern talking-to when he accompanied Rihanna to Jay's show at the Barclay's Center. According to The Sun, Jay invited Chris to the show, so he could talk to Chris in person about his relationship with Rihanna.

During their conversation Jay reportedly told Chris, if he hurt Rihanna again he would "end his career." As for Rihanna, Jay allegedly told her that if Chris makes her happy she should "go for it."

"Kanye West SNAPS When Photog Asks About Reggie Bush"

While in Miami, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were coincidentally dining at Prime 112, which is directly across the street from where Kim's ex Reggie Bush and current pregnant girlfriend were eating. As Kimye were exiting the restaurant a female photographer asked Kanye if he'd congratulated Reggie and his girlfriend on their pregnancy, which sent the rap superstar into a frenzy.

Kanye was reportedly agitated over the photog's question and eye-witnesses claim that he lunged at the paparazzo and tried to grab her camera. Meanwhile, Kim stood behind Kanye with a huge smile plastered across her face the whole time.

Following the incident Kanye and Kim hopped in a blacked-out Rolls Royce Phantom and sped away. According to TMZ, the pap told other photogs, "Kanye West just tried to beat me up."

"Cops Find Loads Of Drugs & Firearm On Nelly's Tour Bus"

Oh man, things just got real serious.  Veteran rapper Nelly has just become the latest hip hop artist to be arrested with drugs and a gun on his tour bus.  However, this situation is a little more serious than was the case with Lil Wayne years ago.  TMZ reported on the unfortunate arrest.

According to various law enforcement sources, Nelly's tour bus was halted at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.  A police canine was on the presence and caught a whiff of the drugs inside of Nelly's tour bus.  The police had Nelly and his associates vacate the vehicle so that they could conduct a search, and as a result, police officials discovered TEN POUNDS of marijuana that was being held inside of a massive green duffel bag.  To add to the stress, cops also found...get ready for it...36 small baggies of HEROIN (total of .64 ounces).  

Unfortunately for Nelly, that's still not all that the police found. On top of the 10 pounds of marijuana, and 36 baggies of heroin that they discovered, police also found a .45 caliber pistol on the bus, and...it was loaded.  

The charges that come with all of these illegal possessions are extremely severe as you could imagine, especially when you combine pounds of marijuana with many bags of heroin and a loaded firearm.  Aside from Nelly, there were six other people on the tour bus.  Luckily for Nelly, one of the passengers named, Brian Keith Jones, has stepped up to take the wrap and admitted that the drugs and gun were his.  He has since been placed under arrest while the other members of the tour bus were let go.  

No phone calls have be returned from Nelly or his reps regarding the situation.  This exact checkpoint is the same spot where many other celebrities have been arrested for drug related violations such as, Willie Nelson, Chace Crawford, Armie Hammer, Snoop Dogg, and Fiona Apple.

"Last Dragon" Star Leo O'Brien Dead at Age 41

Actor Leo O'Brien, who played the role of "Richie Green" in the 1985 hit film "The Last Dragon", passed away in New York City on Wednesday, October 10th. The cause of death has yet to be determined but family members believe that O'Brien has been in poor health.

Details surrounding his passing are still unclear, but TMZ reports that an autopsy is being conducted to find out the determining factor in O'Brien's death. Just over a year ago, O'Brien was shot twice in his hometown of Harlem and fortunately survived the shooting. No word on if he was suffering from complications due to his wounds.

American Idol producers were forced to cancel auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday after Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey got into a fierce verbal disagreement. Fellow judges Randy Jackson and Keith Urban were stuck in the middle of the blow up, where Nicki said she was sick of her co-star's '"f*****g highness."

In video footage obtained by TMZ, Nicki can be heard cursing at Mariah while the "Butterfly" songstress wails "Why? Why?"

Sources revealed to TMZ that Nicki later told Mariah "I'm going to knock you out," which was not caught on camera.

K. Michelle has become one of the major break out stars from the recent season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and she's still stirring up quite a bit of drama long after the cameras have shut off.  She recently came forward with allegations of domestic abuse at the hands of her ex-boyfriend Mickey "Memphitz" Wright, and during a recent interview with Hip-Hop Wired, she expressed her disdain for fellow Love & Hip Hop star Rasheeda's rap skills.  

"Prior to the show I didn't think of Rasheeda's rap skills. I still don' t think of them. And when I think of them I have nightmares."

Chicago has been plagued with extreme violence lately.  In 2012, out of the 400 reported murders in the Windy City, 320 of them have been gang related.

CBS 2 reporter Walter Jacobson had a sit down discussion with a group of Chicago gang members, all of whom were teens, and discussed what's going through their heads when it comes to engaging in extreme violence on a daily basis.  One gang member actually said that for him, the solution to violence is killing.

Diddy Says He Doesn't Raise Kids "As Celebrity Children"

Despite Diddy's incredible success, he hasn't taken the road that many other celebrity parents have of putting his children in the spotlight and exposing them to the type of "cameras flashing" lifestyle that he is used to.  He recently spoke to Hollywood Live's Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about how he has raised his children as normal kids.  Diddy stressed that when he and his children's' mothers go to school events, or any type of public activity, he refuses to let people take pictures because he wants the attention focused on his children.  He acts the same way when it comes to attending his son Justin Combs' UCLA college football games.

"He's done everything normal.  That's one of the things that I think that raising my kids – myself and the mothers of my children – we don't raise them as celebrity children.  We don't allow taking pictures at their recitals and things like that. We don't wanna be rude or nothing, but it's their time, it's their moment. I'm there to support them as a parent.

"Milla Jovovich Credits Eazy-E for Her Hollywood Career"

Hollywood star Milla Jovovich, best known for her role in "The Fifth Element" and as the lead character in all of the Resident Evil movies, recently spoke to KCRW Radio and revealed that Eazy-E really inspired her to break out of her strict upbringing and strive for more individuality, which lead to her becoming an actress.  During the interview she broke out some classic Eazy-E lyrics from his "Nobody Move" track where she spit:

"Wyclef Jean Discusses Affair with Lauryn Hill in Autobiography"

Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill have had a checkered history over the years, which has led to the two avoiding each other. Wyclef revealed in a prior interview that he and Hill haven't spoken in some time, and the two didn't seem to make a conscious effort to approach one another at Chris Lighty's funeral either.

In his autobiography titled "Purpose", Wyclef discusses the events which led to their separation. He confirmed that he indeed had an affair with Lauryn Hill during a certain point in time. Hill became pregnant by Rohan Marley, but Wyclef says she led him to believe that he was the father. Jean contended that was the determining factor in the break-up of The Fugees.

"In that moment something died between us. I was married and Lauryn and I were having an affair, but she led me to believe that the baby was mine, and I couldn't forgive that. She could no longer be my muse...Our love spell was broken."

According to a recent article in Scientific American, a rare brain disease in the United States called "neurocysticercosis" has become an increasing issue among the Latino community in California.  Neurocysticercosis is a disease which is caused by a tapeworm brain parasite.  The disease is apparently most common in poorer areas that lack good health systems, as the disease is often preventable by maintaining good hygiene.  

In 2009, there were 304 reported cases of neurocysticercosis in California, and allegedly $17 million was spent on treatment for the disease alone.  According to Theodore Nash, who is the chief of the Gastrointestinal Parasites Section at NIH, "Nobody knows exactly how many people there are with it in the United States.  Minimally there are 5 million cases of epilepsy from neurovysticercosis."

Hopefully, a vaccine will be found to eliminate this serious disease in the near future.

"Tensions Flare On American Idol Set: Nicki vs Mariah"

It looks like it's going to be a battle of the divas on this season of American Idol, as Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey have reportedly already been going at each other's throats with passive aggressive jabs.  During the first taping of American Idol this past Sunday, September 16th, it was reported that the tension between the two women was palpable during the entire auditioning process.  

According to various "spy" sources, there were several times when Nicki would begin to critique a contestant, and Mariah would cut her off and give her own opinion. Nicki would then respond in kind and begin speaking very loudly over Mariah.  One of the sources on the set during the battle of the diva egos was quoted as saying, "These girls just don't like each other."  

The tension between these two should be just as interesting as the actual talent that will be competing on the show.

"Reporter Claims Bush Knew 9/11 Attacks Would Happen"

In a new article that has been published in The New York Times, reporter Kurt Eichenwald, who is a former Timesman and present contributing editor for Vanity Fair, claiming that former President George W. Bush, was heavily warned about imminent attacks from Bin Laden Prior to 9/11.  Apparently Bush and his entire administration were warned about the tragic attacks prior to when they actually happened, even more than the general public realized.  Mr. Eichenwald goes into specific detail about how the Bush administration was warned about the pending danger from Bin Laden.

Eichenwald highlights the August 6th White House briefing about upcoming danger, as well as months and years prior to the attack of warning that could have helped to prevent the September 11th attacks from taking place.  Eichenwald gained his information from an array of documents that have been kept from public eye.  He says he, "read excerpts from many of them, along with other recently declassified records, and come to an inescapable conclusion: the administration's reaction to what Mr. Bush was told in the weeks before that infamous briefing reflected significantly more negligence than has been disclosed."

Below is a passage from Eichenwald's article in which he addressed the warning George Bush and his administration received, prior to the 9/11 attacks.  The warnings he is referring to in the below passage, were from June of 2001, three months before the 9/11 attacks.

"An intelligence official and a member of the Bush administration both told me in interviews that the neoconservative leaders who had recently assumed power at the Pentagon were warning the White House that the C.I.A. had been fooled; according to this theory, Bin Laden was merely pretending to be planning an attack to distract the administration from Saddam Hussein, whom the neoconservatives saw as a greater threat. Intelligence officials, these sources said, protested that the idea of Bin Laden, an Islamic fundamentalist, conspiring with Mr. Hussein, an Iraqi secularist, was ridiculous, but the neoconservatives' suspicions were nevertheless carrying the day.

In response, the C.I.A. prepared an analysis that all but pleaded with the White House to accept that the danger from Bin Laden was real."

"Woman Killed After Revealing HIV Status to Boyfriend"

Larry Dunn Jr. confessed to killing his girlfriend Cicely Bolden after she revealed that she was HIV positive - a revelation which came after the had already had sexual intercourse. 36-year-old Dunn kept his explanation rather simple: "She killed me, so I killed her," he told Dallas, Texas law enforcement.

Boden's two young children discovered her body when they arrived home from school. The 28-year-old was found lying on her bedroom floor, naked from the waist down. Blood was pouring from her neck as the result of two stab wounds.

According to Dallas police, Dunn Jr. said that he and Boden had only been dating for a short period of time. After revealing that she was HIV positive, Dunn told law enforcement she followed that up by saying it was "not that bad". It was at that point that Dunn become enraged, heading to the kitchen to grab a knife.

Their neighbor Latoya Arnett, who made the 911 call, said to reporters "All I know is, she didn't deserve it and her kids didn't deserve to see her like that. She was a good mom. Loved her kids to death. I can't imagine my kids seeing me like that. I know it hurt them."

Dallas police officials acknowledged that Dunn was cooperative during the investigation.

"Clifton Powell Responds to Woman's Assault Allegations"

Clifton Powell recently spoke out against the allegations of rape made against him by a New Orleans woman. He strongly denies that there is any truth to the accusations made in 2011 by an employee of Harrah's casino in New Orleans. Ms. Kiyante Myers filed a civil suit in federal court in Louisiana, and she is seeking around $75,000 in damages.

Ms. Myers has already admitted to having sex with Powell, but claims that he was being too rough and didn't stop after she told him that she didn't want to continue.  Powell, on the other hand, has a very different outlook on what happened. According to his side of the story, he met her in 2010, a year before the alleged rape actually took place, and claims that she hit on him but he shut her down because she came on too strong.  

He did however admit to becoming close with her for a brief period of time a year later in 2011, and after they became intimate, she asked him to give her money, which he refused.  Powell said that after he refused to pay her any form of money, she threatened to go to the authorities and tell them that he hurt her.  

"She got mad because I wouldn't give her any money.  I've never hurt anyone.  I was never arrested.  Never. TMZ is reporting this like it happened yesterday. This happened a year ago, Ryan. And people need to know the truth."

"President Obama Reacts to Nicki Minaj's Republican Rap"

Wind of Nicki Minaj's "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b*tches are f*cking up the economy" line has found its way to President Barack Obama's ear, and he isn't at all phased by the pro-Rebublican lyrics spit by the YMCMB Queen.  Obama commented on the song's content to an Orlando radio show, stating that he isn't sure whether or not Nicki seriously supports Mitt Romney because she uses so many alter egos.  

"I'm not sure that is actually what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But, she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."

"Gucci Mane to Pay $60k for Pushing Woman From Car"

Only Gucci Mane knows what was going through his mind when he pushed a woman out of a moving Hummer last year. A year later though, the consequences of his actions are now catching up to him. A judge has ordered Gucci to pay Diana Graham $60,000 in punitive damages for the stunt he pulled, reportedly because she wouldn't go to a hotel room with him.

Gucci plead guilty to the charges and spent six months in jail for the crime, but he was sued in a civil case as well. Graham cited mental anguish, pain, and emotional distress as the reasons for the suit, and was awarded $58,161.24 for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering.

Gucci has not commented on the situation.
